My name is Mary. I was a manager in retail and was working 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift all in the same week. Exhausted, I thought to myself "Mary, you need to work to live, not live to work!" And that is when I decided to go into business for myself in March 2007. With the help of Devon Thomas Treadwell and John Stucker of Pollywog, Bumblebee Personal Assistants was brough to life on August 13, 2007.

I was in retail for 16 years, and 8 of those 16 years I was in a management position. My biggest accomplishment in retail was turning around a store that was on the verge of closing—in 10 months it achieved Million Dollar status. Retail is where I acquired the bulk of my organizing and multi-tasking abilities and fine-tuned my customer service skills.

I decided to build my business on what I enjoy doing most: working with people, going above and beyond. Respect for everyone and honesty is the best policy. Being upfront in every situation and not hesitating to let someone know if I am unable to accomplish tasks requested. Most of all, providing customer services with a personal touch.
